He Outweighs Them All

When obedience to God comes at a great cost, I am once again redirected to the ultimate question: how much is Jesus worth to me?

Pride.

How much is Jesus worth to me?

Is He worth humbling myself and setting aside my own sense of entitlement?

Unforgiveness.

How much is Jesus worth to me?

Is He worth the effort of forgiving those who have hurt or wronged me?

Control.

How much is Jesus worth to me?

Is He worth surrendering my desire for control over my own future?

Giving.

How much is Jesus worth to me?

Is He worth more than anything I could ever give or offer?

Ultimately, the Lord has been weighing the things in my heart against His immeasurable value.

If I were to take a scale and put anything against Him, HE OUTWEIGHS THEM ALL.

I pray that I will be like the farmer in the field, willing to sell everything because I have found something whose value surpasses all that I have and all that I am or will ever be.
